Show Notes

The Charlotte Region has been one of the hottest real estate markets in the country for the last several years. With highly competitive prices and a steady flow of people moving to Charlotte daily, inventory has been tight. Then came the second week of March and everything changed across the Carolinas. Within just a few weeks, the business as we had known it took a back shelf. Buyers and sellers, as well as realtors, did not want to risk exposure to coronavirus and local departments of health ordered them to shelter at home. Now, seven weeks later, things are beginning to return to the new normal. Business is slowly returning safely. In this week's episode of CLT Alliance Talks, we hear from Pat Riley, CEO and president of Allen Tate Companies, about the challenges facing the real estate industry, what's in store for the future, and if things will ever be the same.
