Transportation infrastructure is a critical component to any community’s growth and economic success. Without proper planning and access to a variety of transportation modes, we as individuals – in fact, our region - are limited by what can be achieved. To address these critical needs now – and plan for the future - Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles called for the creation of a mobility task force led by former Mayor Harvey Gantt and comprised of 25 members from across the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area who represent business, government, transportation and planning, education, nonprofits and more. In this week’s CLT Alliance Talks, Joe Bost, senior vice president of government affairs, discusses the challenges ahead for the task force with Assistant City Manager, Taiwo Jaiyeoba.
